India vs West Indies: Ashwin shines again in third test

An unbeaten century stand for the sixth wicket by Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha put India in a respectable position after the first day of the third test against West Indies in St Lucia. The visitors were 234 for five with all-rounder Ashwin on 75 and wicketkeeper Saha on 46 at the close of play at the Darren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia yesterday. Opener Lokesh Rahul's crisp 50 off 65 balls came after the visitors lost Shikhar Dhawan and captain Virat Kohli cheaply.Earlier, the hosts won the toss and decided to bowl first. West Indian teenage paceman Alzarri Joseph enjoyed a dream debut and claimed 2 wickets for 38 runs. India lead the four-test series 1-0.
