India vs South Africa, Day 3, Nagpur Test: India eye series win as Proteas crumble

In the ongoing third Cricket Test match at Nagpur, India will look to wrap up things against South Africa to seal the series. Chasing a target of 310 for victory, South Africa were struggling in their second innings at 32 for 2 when stumps were drawn yesterday. Dean Elgar and skipper Hashim Amla will resume batting on the third day, today. R Ashwin and Amit Mishra took a wicket each in the second innings to push visitors on the backfoot.Yesterday, Proteas lost eight wickets in the morning after resuming at the overnight score of 11 for 2 to close their first innings at just 79 runs. Their lowest total ever against India. After having a handy lead of 136 runs, hosts went for quick runs in their second innings but were all out for 173. Thus having an overall lead of 309 runs. A record 20 wickets fell during the day yesterday.
