Chasing a target of 310 for victory, South Africa were struggling in their second innings. They were 105 for 4 at Lunch on the third day. Ashwin claimed three wickets. Yesterday, Proteas were bundled out for just 79 runs in their first innings, their lowest total ever against India. After having a handy lead of 136 runs, hosts went for quick runs in their second innings but were all out for 173. Thus having an overall lead of 309 runs. A record 20 wickets fell during the day yesterday.
