India vs Eng Cricket Test: India to resume play at overnight score of 323 for 4

Team India will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 323 for 4 against England, on the second day of the first cricket test, at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad today. When stumps were drawn on the opening day yesterday, Cheteshwar Pujara on 98 and Yuvraj Singh on 24 were at the crease.Earlier, after opting to bat first, India got off to a perfect start, with Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir sharing 134 runs for the opening wicket. The highlight of the show was Fire Bladsman, Virender Sehwag, who scored a blistering 117 to give India a strong platform in this first test of the 4-match series. After his wicket, Cheteshwar Pujara picked up from where Sehwag left. Pujara played some exquisite copy-book strokes to help India to cross that 300-mark on the opening day and lay the foundation of a formidable first innings total. Pujara is also just two runs short of his second Test century. For England, all the four wickets were bagged by Spinner Graeme Swann.
