India vs Australia, 2nd Test, Day 1: India steady after losing early wickets

India were 166 for 3 against Australia in 54 overs in their 1st innings on the opening day of 2nd Cricket test at Brisbane when reports last came in. India lost its first wicket in the form of Shikhar Dhawan.Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia has taken 1-0 lead in the 4 test series. In the Brisbane match, Australia have made three changes to their team. Shaun Marsh replaced Australia's injured captain Michael Clarke in the batting line up, while Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc came in for fast bowlers Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle. On the other hand, bolstered by the return of regular captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India is looking to regroup and fight their way back into the four-match series. In the absence of Dhoni, the visitors were ably led by stand-in skipper Virat Kohli, as they came very close to winning the first Test before agonizingly losing out on the fifth and final day by 48 runs in an intense chase.
