India vs Australia, 1st Test at Adelaide: Warner's fifty gives Australia strong start

Australia were 321 for 3 against India on the opening day of the first cricket test at Adelaide in the post tea session. Steven Smith with 51 runs and Mitchell Marsh with 34 were at the crease. Opener David Warner was dismissed for 145 runs. Captain Michael Clarke retired hurt for 60 runs after a back strain. Earlier, the hosts won the toss and elected to bat. Earlier, Opener David Warner smashed his way to an unbeaten 77 off 73 balls as Australia reached 113 for two against India at lunch on the first day of the first cricket Test in Adelaide. Warner's opening partner Chris Rogers (9) and Shane Watson (14) were the two batsmen out during the session as Ishant Sharma and Varun Aaron got a wicket apiece. Australia had won the toss and elected to bat first.
