<span style="color: #222222;">India and Vietnam today signed a Letter of Intent to establish partnership in Digital Media. It was signed by Union Minister for &nbsp;Information and &nbsp;Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and Vietnam's Minister of Information and Communication &nbsp;Nguyen Manh Hung.&nbsp; The Letter of Intent &nbsp;envisages sharing of information and experience in establishing policies and regulatory frameworks on digital media and social networks. It also envisages &nbsp;conducting capacity building and training programs for media professionals and officials in the two countries.<br />'' <br />'' On the occasion, Mr. Thakur &nbsp;said that today's meeting would shape the bilateral cooperation in the field of new technologies and challenges such as the "infodemic" which all countries are grappling with during the COVID-19 pandemic.&nbsp; Mr. Hung invited Mr. Thakur to Vietnam. Mr. Hung talked about enabling the journalists of both the countries to access information about the socio-economic developments in each other's nations for wider dissemination of success stories and stronger people-to-people ties.<br />''<br />''The meeting was also attended by Prasar Bharati's CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Press Information Bureau's Principal DG Jaideep Bhatnagar and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting Vikram Sahay among other officials from the Indian side.</span><br />
