India US to exchange views in forthcoming Nuclear Security Summit to prevent nuclear weapons

India and the US will exchange views on keeping nuclear weapons out of the reach of terrorists during the upcoming Nuclear Security Summit in Washington. <br/><br/>US Ambassador to India Timothy J Roemer said in Bhubaneswar last evening that the Summit on Monday is the most significant one after 1945. <br/><br/>He said, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President Barack Obama will meet to put forth their perspectives on nuclear proliferation and nuclear safety. <br/><br/>Heads of 45 other nations would also participate in it. Pointing that both India and USA faced trans-national threat, Roemer said, America has experienced it in New York and India in Mumbai.<br/><br/>He said the countries needed to work together to try to make sure that it couldn't be a nuclear or chemical crisis. <br/><br/>Replying to a question on direct access to David Headley, who has confessed to his role in Mumbai terror attacks, the ambassador said, US empathises and sympathises with India's desire to have direct access to Headley. <br/><br/>He said, this is the kind of person that is responsible for the blood thirsty cowardly attacks and USA wants to bring them swift and resolute justice. <br/><br/>Mr Roemer said the US is shoulder-to-shoulder, hand-in-hand and day and night working with India to try to make sure to prevent the next attack.<br/>
