India and the US today held discussions on issues related to terrorism emanating from Afghan-Pak region. The US Director of National Intelligence, Mr Dennis C. Blair met the Home Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram and they are believed to have discussed the issue.<br/> <br/>The US Ambassador Timoty Roemer, who accompanied him later told newsmen that the meeting was the continuation of the discussions between Dr Manmohan Singh and President, Mr Barack Obama. He said, this is to ensure minute-to-minute cooperation with India. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent says that the meeting assumes significance as it comes before the Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Coleman Headley is to be produced before a Chicago court where he is likely to plead guilty for all the charges levelled against him.<br/>
