Pakistan figured prominently in the talks between Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the visiting US President Barack Obama. AIR correspondent reports that terrorism emanating from Pakistan and its slow progress in prosecuting the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks was raised both at the one-on-one meeting between the two leaders and at the delegation level talks. Sources told our correspondent that issues like Nuclear commerce, co-operation in defence and space, updating export controls, and enhanced trade were also reviewed in the meetings. The two leaders are expected to issue a joint statement covering a number of issues ranging from security, trade and economy, including cooperation in international fora like G-20.
