The two-way trade between India and UK is likely to reach 20 billion US dollar in the next five years from the present 13 billion US dollar. The British High Commissioner Sir Richard Stagg said this in New Delhi today.He said education, energy, technology, defense and manufacturing are some of the important areas of cooperation between the two countries.The British High Commissioner said there is a strong desire of UK companies to do business in tier II and tier III cities of India as a lot more interesting, challenging and dynamic activity is happening in these cities.India's exports including vehicle, electrical products, iron and steel to the UK was 4.68 billion US dollar in first nine months of 2008-09. Major imports from the UK included beverages, mineral fuels and organic chemicals.
