India, UK to boost bilateral anti-terrorism cooperation

<br/>India and the UK will seek to deepen bilateral anti-terrorism cooperation as Home Minister P Chidambaram will meet his British counterpart and top intelligence officials in London on Monday.<br/><br/>He will have indepth talks with British Home Secretary Alan Johnson to intensify cooperation on security issues, including efforts to combat terrorism. The discussions at various levels will focus on the counter-terrorism set up in the UK and lessons India could learn for the setting up of the National Intelligence Grid. The Grid aimed at facilitating robust information sharing between security and law enforcement agencies to combat terror threat at home and abroad.<br/><br/>Mr Chidambaram will also familiarise himself with the functioning of Britain's police and intelligence services in an effort to strengthen the security outfits in India. He will also meet Foreign Secretary David Miliband and British Prime Minister's Foreign Policy adviser Simon Mcdonald.<br/>
