India and UAE today reaffirmed their deep commitment to building a comprehensive strategic partnership to elevate their multifaceted ties to an even higher level. They also resolved to harness the shared strengths and complementarities to expand the partnership for the benefit of their countries, for peace, stability and prosperity in their region and for the betterment of the world.<br/> <br/>In a joint statement issued at the end of the three day visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the common threat posed by terrorism to peace and security. They declared that there could be no justification for terrorism anywhere and condemned efforts, including by States, to use religion to justify, sustain and sponsor terrorism against other countries.<br/> <br/>The two leaders further deplored efforts by countries to give religious and sectarian colour to political issues and pointed out the responsibility of all States to control the activities of the so-called 'non-state actors'.
