India and Turkey have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for further developing relations in the fields of sports and youth activities. The Mou was signed by Sports Minister, Ajay Maken and his Turkish counterpart Suat Kilic in Ankara today. Mr. Maken is currently on a 3 day official visit to Turkey. The MoU sets out a framework for advancement of linkages and cooperation through sports and youth agencies of the respective governments. Speaking on the occasion, Maken expressed the hope that this MoU will pave the way for further enhancement of traditional ties between the two countries, especially among youth. Maken also congratulated Turkey on Istanbul being shortlisted for Olympics 2020.
