After their first ever Cricket ODI win against South Africa at Durban on Thursday, a buoyant India will take on the hosts at Centurion on Sunday in the six match series. The second ODI will be a day-game and the only one in this series, on account of a Sunday, as is the norm in South Africa. The match starts at 1.30 p.m. Indian Standard Time. Thursday's defeat has ended the Porteas' 17 match unbeaten run on home soil.In the aftermath of the Durban defeat, South Africa have lost skipper du Plessis to a finger injury. He suffered a blow during the first ODI and later scans revealed that he had suffered a fracture, thus ruling him out for three to six weeks. He will miss the remainder of the ODI series as well as the entire T20I series against India . In view of this, Cricket South Africa today named 23-year-old batsman Aiden Markram as skipper for the remaining five ODI matches against India. Markram has only featured in two ODIs so far, making his debut against Bangladesh in October last year. He has also played 6 Tests. He led South Africa to Under-19 World Cup triumph in 2014 and was widely regarded as a future captain. However, Du Plessis' unfortunate injury prompted selectors to fast-track Markram to the hot-seat.
