India will take on Australia in the first game of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia in Sydney tomorrow.
The match will begin at 7.50 am Indian Standard Time. India would be high on confidence after having lifted their first Border-Gavaskar Test trophy on the Australian soil.
With the cricket World Cup less than five months away, India will look to fine-tune their preparations for the mega event in the ODI series.
The Indian team management is yet to announce the shortlist for the game. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is set to return to this format after being dropped initially for the Australian tour.
The hosts have named their playing eleven with Nathan Lyon featuring as the lone spinner. Aaron Finch will lead the Australian ODI squad.
Peter Siddle is returning to this format for the first time since 2010. Keeper-batsman Alex Carey will open with skipper Aaron Finch, while Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh and Peter Handscomb will form the middle order.
