Six times champion India will take on defending champion Afghanistan in the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) tournament on Sunday. Afghanistan trampled Sri Lanka 5-0 in a semifinal clash to enter into the summit clash of the SAFF Cup at the Trivandrum International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday evening. Earlier, India stormed into the final of the tournament defeating Maldives 3-2 in another semifinal match yesterday. Skipper Sunil Chhetri opened the scoring for the hosts in the 25th minute followed by Jeje Lalpekhlua's 34th and 66th minute brace which helped the ten time SAFF finalists seal a place in the final. Ahmed Nashid and Amdaan Ali were the goal-scorers for the Maldives.
