India will export 500 MW electricity to energy deficient Pakistan. Secretary, Water Resources Ministry Dhruv Vijay Singh made this announcement in Srinagar in the inaugural session of two-day hydro power conference. He said since India has the power and Pakistan requires it, the power will be sold to Pakistan at the international rate. The Official said that the Government of India is likely to supply electricity to Pakistan through Punjab.
