India today assured Tanzania that it would extend all cooperation to the Tanzanian Navy for enhancing the maritime ties between the two countries. Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba said in New Delhi that Indian Navy is working together with Tanzanian Navy for capacity building. <br/><br/>The visiting Tanzanian Navy Commander Rear Admiral R S Laswai said both navies have common challenges within the Indian Ocean Rim.He said, since both the navies have common challenges, there is a need to chart common policy, cooperation and strategy for one vision and one destiny. Tanzanian Navy Commander is in New Delhi on a four day official visit to India. <br/><br/>His visit is intended to consolidate bilateral naval relations between India and Tanzania and to explore new avenues for naval cooperation.
