Minister of Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu on Tuesday said India will showcase its enormous business opportunities and the path breaking reforms at the annual meeting of World Economic Forum at Davos in Switzerland. He said, these include wide ranging FDI reforms which has brought in 195 billion dollars over last three and half years. The meeting will begin from 23rd of this month and continue till 26th. The theme of the event is creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World. The Minister was briefing reporters in New Delhi about India's participation at World Economic Forum.Mr Prabhu said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the meeting and will interact top global business leaders there. He said, the forum will help India get inbound investment as world leaders are looking towards India as an opportunity for investment, Starts-up and many other interests. He said, the event provides an important platform for leaders from industry, business and baking sectors to converge at on place to exchange their ideas.India will be representing in around 25 sessions organised on areas including next generation industrial strategies, infrastructure acceleration, future of employment in manufacturing and production. Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ramesh Abhishek was also present on the occasion.
