India will set up a committee under Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia to identify areas for expanding Indo-US economic ties. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said. The committee will coordinate with various ministries and prepare a roadmap before US President Barack Obama's India visit in November. Mr. Mukherjee said in Washington that US wants India to expedite legislative actions for economic reforms like opening up of insurance and other sectors.
