India to send team to Geneva to speed up process of negotiations on food security

India will soon send a team to Geneva to speed up the process of negotiations to find a permanent solution on food security. It is amids the WTO Chief Roberto Azevedo asking member countries to redouble efforts to meet the deadline of December this year. <br/><br/>Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and WTO Chief Azevedo discussed various issues during a meeting in New Delhi yesterday. <br/><br/>Ms Sitharaman said India wants the procedure of finding a permanent solution to be completed on time and before the ministerial level meet in Argentina in December.
