India says it will take up handing over of mastermind of Mumbai Blasts Hafiz Sayeed with Pakistan in the forthcoming Home Secretary level talks with Pakistan. The talks are scheduled to be held on 24th and 25th of this month in Islamabad.
Home Secretary Mr. R. K. Singh who was on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday said that handing over of criminals and other wanted terrorists will also be taken up during the talks apart from urging Pakistan for a speedy trial of yet another person accused in Mumbai Blasts Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi.
Mr. Singh assured that he will take up the issues raised by traders with his counterpart to enhance business activities across LoC between the two parts of Kashmir.
The Home Secretary also reviewed security arrangements on the trade route with top security officials. He said New Delhi will not allow racketeers to use Poonch -Rawlakote and Uri-Salamabo routes for Havala transaction and to put up a system in place which will help evaluate the value of goods imported and exported after every 6 months .
This is being done so that excess money cannot be used for other purpose.
