India is to provide grant assistance of 2.67 crore nepali rupees for construction of a three storied campus building for Sindhupalchowk and Chautara Multiple Campus in Central Development Region of Nepal. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed today by Embassy of India, Kathmandu, District Development Committee, Sindhupalchowk and Chautara Multiple Campus, Sindhupalchowk for this under Nepal-India Economic Cooperation Programme.This is the fifth development project in Sindhupalchowk District being undertaken with the assistance of Government of India under Small Development Projects. Established in 2001, Chautara Multiple Campus, is situated in district headquarter of Sindhupalchowk, Central Development Region of Nepal. The campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University.The new infrastructure being constructed with the Govt. of India grant assistance would cater to the educational needs of over twelve hundred students. India recognizes the importance of accelerating economic rehabilitation and development in Nepal and remains committed to rendering all possible assistance in that direction.
