India to press England for victory in Mumbai Cricket Test today

In the fourth cricket test at Mumbai, India seems to be on the verge of completing a comprehensive series victory against England as the visitors need 49 runs with just 4 wickets in hand to avoid innings defeat. India made massive 631 in their first innings in reply to England's 400, thanks to the double ton by the captain Virat Kohli and centuries by Murli Vijay and Jayant Yadav. Kohli scored 235 and became the first Indian captain to score three double centuries in the Tests. Jayant Yadav also smashed his maiden century and shared a record 241-run stand with the Indian skipper. He became the first Indian to score a Test hundred at No 9. Jonny Bairstow was the not out batsman for England, on 50, after Jake Ball departed in the final over of the day. Hosts are now all but assured to regain the Anthony De Mello Trophy that they had lost back in 2012. The home team were dismissed 48 minutes into the second session and England – with only a draw to play – plunged into deep trouble to be 49 for three at tea before being revived by a fourth wicket partnership of 92 runs between Joe Root and Bairstow.
