The Indian contingent is all set to open its campaign on Tuesday on the second day of the U.S Open tennis at New york. In the Women's singles event, Sania Mirza will face Shahar Peer of Israel. In the Men's Doubles event, the fourth seeded Indian duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi will take on pair of Alexander Dolgopolov of Ukraine and Spain's Albert Ramos. The Indo-Pak combine of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will also play their opening match of the Men's Doubles competition. Top seeds Novak Djokovic of Serbia, Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams of the United States are among others who will also be seen in action today in their respective first round singles matches.
