India will make an official request to Malaysia regarding controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik. <br/><br/>MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told media in New Delhi on Friday that the nature of request in this regard will be decided soon. <br/><br/>According to reports, Zakir Naik has been given permanent residency in Malaysia.<br/><br/>NIA charged Naik with promoting enmity between communities last week.
