In Rio Olympics, India will look for their first Medal as they have their contention in Archery, Shooting, Hockey, Boxing and Rowing today. In Archery men's singles recurve event, Atanu Das will be seen in Round of 64 action. He will be up against Jit Bahadur Muktan of Nepal. This contest will begin at 05:30 PM Indian Time. Besides him, Bombayla Devi and Deepika Kumari are the Indian archers left in the women's singles segment. In Shooting, all eyes will be on Heena Sidhu today as she competes in the women's 25 meter pistol event. The shootout will begin at 05:30 PM Indian Time. Sidhu had earlier disappointed in the 10 meter air pistol event.In the men's hockey, after a tough loss against Olympic Champion Germany last evening, India will play against Argentina in their 3rd encounter.In Boxing, India's Vikas Krishan will begin his campaign in the 71 Kg weight class. Vikas will box against American Charles Albert Conwell in Round of 32, later in the night. Manoj Kumar in 64 kg and Shiva Thapa in 56 kg are other Indian pugilist who will feature later in the week. In Rowing, Dattu Baban Bhokanal will try to move in the semi-finals as he will feature in the quarter-finals of Men's singles sculls event. Dattu with a time of 7 minutes 21.67 seconds had finished 15th overall in heats. His event will begin at 5 PM Indian Time today.Most decorated Olympian Michael Phelps today advanced in the final of 200 meter butterfly. Yesterday, he bagged his 19th Gold medal from 4 x 100m freestyle relay.The medals tally after the end of 3 days play is led by U.S with 5 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze, followed by China with 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze and the third place is occupied by Australia with 4 Gold and 3 Bronze.
