India will host foreign ministers conference of 48 least developed countries in New Delhi tomorrow. Lines of Credit, Africa E-connectivity Project and other development assistance initiatives will be focus of discussions in this least developed countries ministerial conference. The conference will also attempt to address the special needs of these countries. External affairs minister S M Krishna will inaugurate the conference. This is the first of its kind being hosted by India. The conference will also attract delegations from US, China, European Union among others. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, India's special representative to United Nations, Hardeep Puri said the theme of the Conference is harnessing the positive contribution of South-South Cooperation for development of the Least Developed Countries. He said the objective of the Conference is to provide inputs to the 4th UN-Least Developed Countries conference to be hosted by Turkey in Istanbul during May . AIR correspondent reports, the Istanbul Conference is the fourth in the series of the conference so far. The Conference will provide an opportunity to India to hear from the Foreign Ministers, Ministers and Permanent Representatives of these Countries about their approach to the Istanbul Conference.
