India will host the ninth E-9 ministerial review meeting on inclusive, relevant and quality education in New Delhi today.
The two day meeting will be inaugurated by Minister of State for HRD Shashi Tharoor and attended by education ministers of Pakistan, India, China (Vice-Minister) and Nigeria. They will adopt a joint outcome document at the close of the meeting.

'E' stands for education and '9' represents the nine highly populated countries — Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria and Pakistan.

An official release said that the E-9 countries will chalk out an action plan to further relevant quality education in the respective countries which will be followed up in the next two years.
