India will host the 8th edition of Theatre Olympics from 17th of this month. The event which will continue till 8th of April will inaugurated by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu at Lal Quila in the national capital. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, Culture Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma said, for the first time India is hosting the event and more than 25 thousand foreign artists will participate. He said, 51 day long nationwide theatre extravaganza will be held in 17 cities including Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Patna, Kolkata, Mumbai, Guwahati and Jammu. Dr Sharma said, the theme of the festival is flag of friendship.<br/>
