India and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Secretariat today signed an MoU in New Delhi to delineate the duties and responsibilities of major stakeholders to be involved in organizing 3rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of AIIB. <br/><br/>The meeting will be hosted by India at Mumbai on 25th and 26th of June next year. The theme of the meeting will be Mobilizing Finance for Infrastructure: Innovation and Collaboration. The MoU was signed by Joint Secretary (Multilateral Institutions Division) in Department of Economic Affairs, Sameer Kumar Khare, and AIIB's Vice-President and Corporate Secretary Danny Alexander. Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg and other senior officers of the central government and AIIB were present on the occasion.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Subhash Chandra Garg said this international event will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase the strengths of the Indian economy and introduce AIIB members to potential infrastructure investment opportunities in India and Asia.
