The South Asian Games Torch and Flag were handed over to the Indian Olympic Association President Mr. Suresh Kalmadi in Dhaka last evening as India will host the next edition of the games in 2012 at a venue to be announced later.The South Asian Olympic Council has awarded India hosting rights for the 12th edition of South Asian Games in 2012 after Bhutan, whose turn it was to host the next Games, they expressed its inability to stage the meet.This was decided after the 41st South Asian Olympic Council (SAOC) meeting in Dhaka on Sunday.
