India is to provide grant assistance of Rs 3.9 crore (Nepali currency) for Dholaka District in Nepal. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed on Friday between the Embassy of India, Kathmandu District Development Committee and Dolakha and Shree Kalinag Higher secondary school for construction of a double storied building under the Nepal-India Economic Cooperation programme.
The Shree Kalinag Higher Secondary School is located in Sunkahani in the border district and is expected to improve the facilities for the students.
According to a press release, this is the fourth development project in Dolakha district being undertaken with government of India’s grant assistance under the Small Development Projects.
