India will give a line of credit of one billion Dollar to Bangladesh. This is the highest ever credit line given by India to any country in one time. Earlier India and Bangladesh signed five agreements including three anti terror and security related pacts.<br/><br/>These three agreements are on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, transfer of sentenced persons and combating international terrorism, organised crime and illegal drug trafficking. <br/><br/>A MoU on the cooperation in power including inter grid connectivity was also inked besides signing of a cultural exchange programme. The agreements were signed after the talks this evening between the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh and his Bangladeshi counterpart Mrs Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi on Tuesday.
