India will construct road projects worth 680-crore rupees in Nepal and agreements in this regard will be signed during the visit of External Affairs Minister S M Krishna beginning tomorrow. Mr Krishna will undertake a three-day visit, which assumes significance as it comes in the midst of the renewed political turmoil in Nepal. <br/><br/>He will meet President Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and hold talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala. The status of Nepal's peace process besides bilateral relations and ways to enhance these will be discussed. The External Affairs Ministry said in a statement that the visit is in consonance with the ongoing high-level bilateral interaction between the two countries.<br/><br/>During the trip, the two sides will sign five pacts, including one for construction of a road in Terai. Another pact will be in the power sector and entails electrification of five villages in Nepal. MoUs will also be signed for establishment of a Scientific and Research Centre in Nepal, providing Central Depository System facility for Nepal Stock Exchange and establishment of Nepal Police Academy.
