India will become a ten trillion dollar economy and achieve a growth rate of ten per cent by 2032. This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer of Niti Aayog Amitabh Kant in New Delhi. Giving a presentation on the status of implementation of reports of secretaries on the occasion of 10th Civil Services Day, Mr Kant said, the country's growth rate is 7.6 per cent in 2015-16 and its economy is 1.7 trillion dollars. He projected creation of 17.5 crore jobs and zero per cent of below poverty line population by 2032. Mr Kant said, there will be Rs 2 lakh crore worth investment in roads and railways in present financial year. Government intends to complete ten thousand kilometres of road project during the same period.
