President Pranab Mukherjee today exuded confidence that India will become a manufacturing hub especially in aerospace technologies in next ten years. <br/><br/>He inaugurated the India Aviation 2016 at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad a short while ago. He said the country requires 120 billion US dollars during next decade for development of aviation infrastructure in the country. <br/><br/>He laid emphasis on linking of small cities and north- eastern states by air services. He further said the country will become third aviation market in the world after the US and China by 2020. <br/><br/>He asserted that the country is a threshold in aviation sector for investments, marketing repair and operation of aircraft. He also emphasised that make in India, start up India and stand up india initiative bring more thrust to civil aviation sector .<br/><br/>Civil Aviation Minister Ashoka Gajapathi Raju said seven Indian States are supporting the civil aviation ministry in its endeavours along with two foreign countries, the US and Canada. He asserted that Indian aviation is flying high. In manufacturing, repair, passenger and tourist growth.<br/><br/>Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governor ESL Narasimhan and Telangana a Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao also took part in the event.
