In neighboring country Nepal, Madhesies are still agitating and demonstrations are continuing in districts like Daang, Nepalganj, etc. They are demanding special status and a separate state for themselves. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has tightened security at the border and Indian vehicles are not allowed to enter in Nepal from Rupaidiha border. Intensive checking and frisking of people is maintained at border points.
