In the ICC Twenty20 World Cup for Women, Team India crushed Sri Lanka by 71 runs to book a place in the Semi Finals. Opting to bat first, India made 144 for 3 in their alloted 20 overs. Chasing the target Sri Lanka could manage only 73 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. India will now face Australia in their semi-final encounter to be played on Thursday. The second semi-final will be played between West Indies and NewZealand on Friday.In the Men's tournament, England and Pakistan have entered the semi-finals of ICC twenty20 World Cup. England beat New Zealand by three wickets in their last Super Eight stage match and Pakistan defeated South Africa by 11 runs at St Lucia yesterday to enter the semis. Team India will take on Sri Lanka in their last Super Eight match today. Facing the risk of an early exit, India will not only have to produce a miracle against Sri Lanka but also hope Australia beat West Indies by a huge margin if Dhoni's men want to book a berth in the semis.
