India thrash Australia by innings & 135 runs;clinch 2-0 lead in four match series

India thrashed Australia by an innings and 135 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match series in Hyderabad today. Australia were all out for 131 runs. The visitors needed 192 runs to avoid an innings defeat but they lost the final eight wickets in 35 overs with an addition of only 57 runs to their overnight total. Indian bowler R Ashwin grabbed five wickets for 63 while Ravindra Jadeja took three for 33 during a chastening innings for the visitors. Cheteshwar Pujara was awarded the man-of-the-match for his double century. The third match of the series will be played on 14th of this month at Mohali.
