India thanks Somalia for rescuing Indians hijacked by pirates

India tonight thanked Somalia for rescuing Indians working as crew on a commercial vessel hijacked by pirates. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj expressed her happiness in a tweet to confirm the rescue of Indian crews of MV AL Kausar and thanked Somali authorities. She thanked Federal Government of Somalia, Galmudug state authorities and people of Somalia for their help and cooperation. <br/><br/>Swaraj also thanked India's High Commissioner in Kenya Suchitra Durai for her efforts in securing the release of the Indians.<br/>'<br/><br/>
