India test fires nuclear-capable cruise missile Nirbhay

India's indigenously developed nuclear-capable cruise missile 'Nirbhay' test-fired from the integrated test-range at Chandipur in Odisha today.

Nirbhay can carry atomic warhead and can hit the enemy target at a distance of 750 kilometres to 1000 kilometres. The six metre long cruiz missile is designed to strengthen the country's air defence.
