India today sucessfully test-fired nuclear-capable Agni-III missile from Wheeler Island, off Odisha coast. The missile was test-fired from launch complex number 4 of Wheeler Island at 1315 hours this afternoon. The 17-meter long and 2-meter in diameter Agni-III missile can carry warhead of 1500 tonnes and hit a target within the range of 3,000 kms.
