India terms OIC reference to internal matters as factually incorrect, misleading

India has strongly reacted and termed as factually incorrect and misleading the references about Jammu and Kashmir made by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during its 13th Summit in Turkey. In a statement, External Affairs Ministry said that the communique includes factually incorrect and misleading references pertaining to the Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India. India also questioned the locus standi of the OIC to make such references. New Delhi has advised the OIC to refrain from making such references in future.

India has strongly reacted and termed as factually incorrect and misleading the references about Jammu and Kashmir made by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during its 13th Summit in Turkey. <br/><br/>External Ministry in a statement said, that the communique includes factually incorrect and misleading references pertaining to the Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India. <br/><br/>India also questioned the locus standi of the OIC, which in its communique affirmed its support to the widespread indigenous movement of the people of the Jammu and Kashmir for their right to self-determination, to make such references. India has also advised the OIC to refrain from making such references in future.
