New Delhi says it is taking necessary measures to augment the safety and security of Indian High Commission and its staff in Pakistan in view of deteriorating situation in that country. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha the External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M. Krishna said that the issue has also be taken up repeatedly with Pakistan government as safety and security of diplomatic mission and its staff is the responsibility of the host government.
