In Cricket, India, took 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match T20 International Series by defeating West Indies by 8 runs at Kolkata last night. Chasing a victory target of 187 runs, West Indies were restricted to 178 for 3 in stipulated 20 overs. Earlier the hosts scored 186 for 5 in 20 overs. Rishabh Pant was adjudged the player of the match.  

The last match of the T20 series will be played tomorrow at the Eden Gardens. West Indies have already lost the preceding ODI series 0-3.
