In the ICC Cricket World Cup, two matches will be played today. India will take on Ireland at the M. Chinnaswami Stadium in Bengaluru in a Day-night encounter. The home team is likely to face a tough challenge from the Irish who are upbeat after defeating England earlier this week. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the match. It can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and FM Gold from 2 pm onwards. In todays other match England are slated to meet South Africa, in a Day Fixture at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Yesterday, Rain played spoilsport in Colombo, as the match between Sri Lanka and defending champions Australia was abandoned. The Group A match was intriguingly poised when the skies opened with Sri Lanka on 146 for three in 32.5 overs after having won the toss at the R Premadasa Stadium. The two sides were awarded one point each.
