Australia has retained its team that defeated India at Melbourne for the second test beginning at Sydney on Tuesday.Cricket Australia said in a statement on Monday that skipper Michael Clarke has named an unchanged XI with spinner Nathan Lyon preferred to quick Ryan Harris. The Aussies have made public their plan to dry up runs for the Indians.Indian bowlers perhaps would do their job, more so if they happen to bowl first in really difficult batting conditions the Sydney ground is likely to offer on the first day. They would have to force the Australians to bowl to their strength. In that alone rests the chance of a revival. The 16 member Indian team includes Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Abhimanyu Mithun, Pragyan Ojha, Wriddhimaan Saha, Rohit Sharma.
