India take 2-1 lead over Korea in Asia-Oceania Group I Davis Cup Tennis tie

India have taken a Two-One lead over Korea in the on-going Asia – Oceania Group I Davis Cup Tennis tie. On the second day of the Best of Five Tie at Busan, South Korea today, Rohan Bopanna and Saketh Myneni pair defeated Hyung-Taik Lee and Lim Yong-Kyu of the host country in the crucial doubles match by three sets to one 7-6, 5-7, 7-6, 6-3. On Day One yesterday, the two teams were level One-One, after sharing the two Opening Singles. India are now on the verge of beating South Korea for the first time in an away tie. The last time the two teams played was in 2013 when the Koreans beat India 4-1 in New Delhi in the absence of top players, who boycotted the tie.
